ABC
Poster Design
Inspired by Elaine Lustig Cohen's ABC Watercolor, this project explores the intersection of typography, abstraction, and geometric composition. Through a series of three distinct poster designs, I reinterpreted the letters "A," "B," and "C" using a minimalist yet dynamic approach, experimenting with color, form, and spatial arrangement.
Each design incorporates geometric letterforms, carefully constructed to balance structure and fluidity. By exploring different color schemes and compositional variations, I aimed to create a visual dialogue between typography and abstraction, reflecting Cohen's influence while introducing a contemporary twist.
The posters emphasize the expressive potential of type beyond readability, transforming letterforms into bold graphic elements. Through this process, I sought to capture the refined elegance and experimental spirit of Cohen's work while pushing the boundaries of typographic form in a modern, visually engaging way.
